Arkansas VINE Arrest Coverage
The Arkansas VINE System runs through the Arkansas Crime Information Center. The Department of Corrections, local police, county sheriff's offices, and prosecutors feed it data. It watches county jail custody, Division of Correction custody, probation, parole, post-release supervision, and court information supplied by prosecutors. The service runs around the clock.
County jail data refreshes every 15 minutes. Division of Correction records update hourly. Court and supervision entries change once a day. Because these are separate streams, a status may not move in step across them, and VINE is not the source of a Baxter booking card or booking photo.
Check a Baxter Arrest
VINE accepts several search keys. You can enter a name, offender or booking number, court case number, ADC number, or PID. An identifier beats a name alone. Misspellings and duplicate names lead to missed matches or false ones.
- Open VINELink and select Arkansas.
- Search a known Baxter booking number first, if available.
- Repeat with the full name and a spelling variation when needed.
- Compare location, custody status, identifier, and update time with the sheriff roster.
- Call 1-800-510-0415 if the web result cannot distinguish people.
The Baxter arrest source hub links to the official booking record and the court follow-through. Use it for the paper trail VINE does not hold. The VINELink site is where searching and alert registration happen. A blank result does not prove anyone is free. Transfers and bookings can still sit behind it.

Use the live interface because custody status can change after the captured research view.
VINE Arrest Result Fields
Fields vary by source. Each participating agency sends what it sends, so one record may carry more detail than another. VINE often returns less than the Baxter roster. Even so, its status updates and notification tools earn their keep right after an arrest.
| Possible field | How to read it |
|---|---|
| Name and birth date | Identity clues that still require careful matching. |
| Offender number | An identifier used to distinguish records. |
| Custody status and location | The reported status and facility at the last update. |
| Scheduled release | A projected or recorded event, subject to change. |
| Parole eligibility | A DOC date, not a promise of release. |
| Court event | Date, time, or location supplied through prosecutors. |
| Supervision status | Probation, parole, or post-release information when available. |
For a booking photo, charges, bond, or the booking card itself, go to the Baxter County Sheriff roster. It holds what VINE leaves out. A court disposition can change later. The case file tells that part of the story.
Register for Arkansas VINE Alerts
Register through VINELink or by calling 1-800-510-0415. Telephone, text, and email alerts are all offered. You can list several numbers or addresses. Phone registration needs a working number with its area code plus a four-digit PIN. The PIN proves the right person answered. It also stops repeat calls, and email alerts skip it.
- Open the matched custody record and choose the registration control.
- Select phone, text, email, or more than one available channel.
- Enter current contact details and create the four-digit phone PIN.
- Save the confirmation and update VINE if a number or email changes.
- For live help by phone, call the toll-free line and press zero.
Registration stays anonymous. State materials say the person in custody never learns who signed up. Each event type can trigger a notice. General release, bond release, court-order release, parole, escape, or death all qualify. Unconfirmed phone calls may repeat every 30 minutes for 24 hours, and transfers may follow a daytime pattern instead.
Baxter VINE Coverage Limits
Arkansas documents VINE use in its county jails. No Baxter-specific participation list is published. Test a known Baxter record live. If it comes up empty, coverage for that record is unconfirmed. Compare the sheriff's Arrested Today sources or call the Baxter County Sheriff's Office at 870-425-7000.
Federal custody sits outside VINE. Neither the Bureau of Prisons nor ICE feeds it. A federal agency label on a county booking card does not show where the person went next. Use the separate BOP or ICE locator when the official record points that way.
Alerts can fail on delivery too. A dead line, a full mailbox, a blocked text, or a changed email can swallow a notice. Keep contact details current and test them. Pair VINE with direct agency calls and a personal safety plan.
Records VINE Cannot Reveal
VINE inherits the same limits as any public record. The sheriff FAQ bars some records from ordinary public access. Those include active investigations, juvenile records, sealed files, and expunged material. VINE is not a way around those walls. A missing result can stem from scope, delay, a mistyped identifier, or a lawful restriction.
Sealing and criminal-history paperwork belongs to the Arkansas Crime Information Center. It publishes the official forms. Processing starts once a court order arrives. Separate forms cover arrests, dismissals, acquittals, misdemeanors, felonies, and other outcomes. VINE cannot seal a record. It cannot fix a court file or erase a listing on some other site. For those tasks, use the court, ACIC, legal aid, or a licensed lawyer, and never pay a service that promises to alter a VINE result.
A status change hides its own reason. Release may follow bond, a court order, or a completed sentence, and a transfer only moves the person. When the reason matters, get the jail record or court order from the office that created it. Keep the notice timestamp, since later data can supersede the message.
Baxter Roster Versus VINE
The Baxter roster and VINE answer different questions. The roster holds the booking card, the photographed intake record, booked charges, bond, and current or recent-release views. VINE handles custody status, location, and alert registration. Search ARCourts adds filed case events and disposition, so no single source can stand in for all three.
| Question | Best first source |
|---|---|
| What did the jail book? | Baxter current or released roster |
| Can alerts be sent? | Arkansas VINE / VINELink |
| How did the case end? | Search ARCourts and the clerk |
| Did state prison receive the person? | Arkansas Division of Correction inmate database |
| Is custody federal? | BOP, ICE, or the responsible federal agency |
The sheriff's official roster entry page is a useful comparison source.

Pick the channel that fits the custody question. The Baxter County jail roster answers who was arrested locally. VINE tracks custody moves instead.
Sometimes the two disagree. A fresh booking can sit on the Baxter County roster before VINE catches it. Wait for the next jail update and try again. The toll-free VINE line works when the website itself stalls. VINE may report a transfer while the roster still looks frozen. Call the Baxter County Detention Center before trusting either timestamp for a safety decision.
State prison is a different system. The Arkansas Division of Correction database follows a person after sentencing or transfer. It may show an offender photograph. Federal custody sits elsewhere, since the Federal Bureau of Prisons and ICE each use their own identifiers and coverage limits. Never guess from a surname, a nationality, or a county charge.
Write down what you checked, when, and which identifier you used. Keep any confirmation number too. That small paper trail pays off later. It explains a mismatch between VINE, the jail roster, and the court docket without guesswork.
